The first group of Jews returning to Austria from Palestine arrived in Genoa during the week-end. There were 35 persons in the group.
They were held up a short time in Genoa because they entered without having first obtained transit visas. When permission to cross Italy was granted, the 35 began the last leg of their journey–under military escort.
