A German exporter who was seriously wounded last week when a bomb exploded in his car in Munich, was described today in reports from, Bonn as a former high-ranking Nazi who, in recent years, had been working for the Egyptian secret service and had his headquarters in Cairo.
Bonn dispatches said that Dr. Wilhelm Brisner, 49, was listed as a member of Hitler’s Elite Guard, with the rank of lieutenant-colonel in the security service. He had been living in Cairo and made periodic visits to Germany to visit his family. Press reports attributed the attack to a French underground terrorist organization which sought out Nazis who had escaped punishment for their crimes.
