The Arab countries either broke off or suspended such relations with West Germany after it recognized Israel.
The Foreign Minister said that his talks with the Arab League official had removed some misunderstandings and he added that he hoped “I have made my views sufficiently clear” to the Arab official. He said there was a “tendency” by the Arab states to raise all kinds of issues.
