A total of 308 communities in the United States, including New York City, have already raised $1,041,900 in the nation-wide campaign on behalf of the German Jews, it was announced yesterday by Rabbi Jonah B. Wise, national chairman of the German Relief Campaign being conducted under the auspices of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee. The quota is $2,000,000.
