Germans in Czechoslovakia will receive the same food rations they allowed to Jews during the Nazi occupation, Vaclav Majer, the new Minister of Food, announced today in a broadcast over the Prague radio.
“Jews will receive the same rations as citizens of Czech or Sloyak nationality” said Majer. “Ration cards marked ‘Jew’ will new be given to Germans, ” he added. first consideration in the allotment of rations, Majer said, will be given-to those returning from concentration camps and to residents of areas occupied by the Germans prior to March 15, 1939.
