Two medical discoveries with regard to blood transfusion by a Jewish professor, Dr. Balachowitch, head of the Blood Transfusion Research Institute, are hailed as “revolutionizing medical science,” by the Soviet press.
Professor Balachowitch, it is stated, has discovered a way of preserving human blood to permit its transfusion within a three-week period. Secondly, he has discovered a way of transfusing the blood of the dead into live bodies with the same effect as a usual blood transfusion.
Eighty experiments have been successfully carried out by him in these directions, it is disclosed.
