Herman Bernstein, well-known journalist and author, was the guest of honor last night at a dinner at the Hotel Astor to commemorate his appointment by President Hoover as Minister to Albania. Many notable Jews prominent in philanthropic, communal and civic organizations were present. Judge Otto A. Rosalsky officiated as chairman and toastmaster, and James W. Gerard, former Ambassador to Germany, headed the list of speakers. Speakers and guests included many representatives of both the Jewish and English daily press, among whom were Adolph S. Ochs, Louis W. Fehr, and Dr. S. Margoshes.
