Open war against the alleged terrorist clique in the Revisionist party in Palestine has been decided upon by the Histadruth, Jewish Labor Federation, it was reported today by Joseph M. Levy, Jerusalem correspondent of the New York Times.
According to Mr. Levy’s dispatch, the Laborite Davar and other Hebrew newspapers have published significant editorials “preparing the ground for outlawing the terror clique and pointing openly to their Revisionist origin.”
Mr. Levy writes: “This is the beginning of a huge struggle within the Jewish ranks in Palestine and may not be devoid of mutual violence. Feeling within the labor ranks is running high, while the revisionists, though a minority, are adamant and seem to be seeking the sympathy of the less enlightened Jewish masses by extreme nationalistic slogans and by describing the Jewish Agency, the federation and the National Council of Palestine Jewry as traitors playing Britain’s game against the interests of a ‘real’ Jewish State. The sympathy of the masses, if not of direct assistance may always serve for a smoke screen.”
