Forty Polish hooligans in the township of Inowroclaw, district of Posen, attacked eight Jewish traders on the market day, robbing them of their goods and mistreating them, according to a report in the “Haint,” which is confirmed by the signatures of the traders who were attacked. The small number of police could not overcome the hooligans, it is stated.
