IBM plans to give the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial in Jerusalem a software program to cross-reference information on Holocaust-era bank accounts with lists of Nazi victims. The Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported that the program was ordered by the Volcker Commission, which investigated dormant Swiss bank accounts dating back to World War II, but its use was delayed due to a dispute with IBM over payment.
