The Loyal League of Yiddish Sons of Erin, an organization of Jews born in Ireland, celebrated a kosher St. Patrick’s Day at a New York restaurant yesterday, combined with a slightly belated Purim festival. Marsha Coleman, a student at Montgomery Junior College in Silver Springs, Maryland, reigned as “Colleen Queen Esther” at the festivities. She and her parents were born in Ireland where her late grandfather, J. T. Clein, was registrar of births, marriages and deaths for the city of Cork.
