Funeral services were held here today for Israel Zev Frishberg, Hebrew educator, lecturer and author, who died yesterday at the age of 79. Mr. Frishberg pioneered in teaching Hebrew by the “natural method”–by associating words with objects. He had been professor of pedagogy at Yeshiva University and at Herzlia Teachers Institute and was, at the time of his death, consultant to the Mizrachi Board of Education.
