Israel is among seven countries offered upgraded relations with NATO. The decision is to be released during this week’s NATO summit in Istanbul. Along with Jordan, Egypt and several other nations in the “Mediterranean dialogue,” Israel will be able to send foreign and defense ministers to NATO meetings and strengthen military relations with NATO.
