The Jordan delegate at an informal meeting of the Israel-Jordan Mixed Armistice Commission asserted today that a 75-year-old Israeli, who was killed a few days ago after crossing into Jordan had tried to use a knife when he was arrested. The Jordanian delegate insisted that all Jordan border units had been instructed on how to treat Israelis who inadvertently crossed the border. He added that the elderly Israeli had resisted arrest.
