Israel released an Iranian dissident who served six years in jail after seeking refuge in Israel, officials said Monday. Ali Hassan Izadakhavy is now living on a kibbutz in the Golan Heights. An Israeli court ordered Izadakhavy released last month after a civil rights activist submitted a petition demanding that he be freed since Israel had not found a country to accept him.
