The Israel Youth Council for Russian Jewry addressed an appeal to the youth of Soviet Russia last night to speak out on behalf of Soviet Jews so that they may either leave Russia or enjoy the same national and cultural rights accorded other national minorities in the USSR.
The Youth Council, at a rally here, said in their call to young Russians: “Raise your voice so that your masters can hear you. Tell them to ‘let my people go’. My people sit among you but they are part and parcel of us. Will you help them unite with us?”
