Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak is expected to be elected vice president of an international grouping of socialist parties. He would replace former Labor Prime Minister Shimon Peres, who will be named honorary president of the Socialist International, the Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported Sunday.
