Israel’s Supreme Court temporarily froze legislation passed last month legalizing a pirate radio station run by Jewish settlers. The judges, ruling on a petition submitted by left-wing legislators, called on the government to verify the legality of the procedure under which the Knesset gave Arutz- 7 permission to broadcast after the station operated illegally for 10 years.
