King Victor Immanuel granted an audience yesterday to prominent leaders in the Italian Jewish community.
Ciro Glass, president of the Italian Zionist Federation. Professor L Sacerdori Chief Rabbi of Italy, Mr. Sereni, president of the Jewish community of Rome, were received by the King. Mr. Sereni presented the King with a silver box containing Palestine coins.
King Victor Immanuel expressed sympathy with the Zionist movement and asked details of the colonization work in Palestine. The audience lasted for an hour.
