Jacob Blaustein, honorary president of the American Jewish Committee who was a member of the U.S. delegation to the United Nations General Assembly last year, received today an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from Lehigh University here.
Honorary degrees were also conferred upon Henry Cabot Lodge Jr., U.S. representative to the UN and the Rev. Henry Knox Sherrill, Presiding Bishop of the Protestant Episcopal Church. Mr. Blaustein is a member of the class of 1913 at Lehigh University.
