Though the number of Jews in Japan is rather insignificant, the Japanese press today reports that the authorities have set September 7th as the inauguration day for a nation-wide anti-Jewish campaign.
Anti-Jewish meetings will be held throughout Japan on that day for the purpose of “acquainting the Japanese with the fact that the Jews are the enemies of the entire world.” From that day on no Japanese will be permitted to shake hands with a Jew, while entrance of Jews to public places will be prohibited. The campaign against the Jews will, according to the press, be conducted by the Japanese anti-spy federation.
