A Japanese commercial delegation which returned today from a visit to Palestine, will make recommendations which, if accepted, will greatly increase the export of Palestine oranges.
The recommendations, it is reported here, urge the Japanese government to establish closer commercial contact with Palestine and effect a barter agreement whereby Japan should take Palestine oranges and potash in exchange for Japanese goods.
The delegation will also recommend an exhibition of Japan’s products in Palestine, preliminary to the development of broader commercial relations.
