Jean Kahn was re-elected president of the largest Jewish religious organization in Europe. Kahn, 75, was elected unopposed Sunday for a third successive term as head of France’s Consistoire Central. The founding chairman of the European Monitoring Center on Racism and Xenophobia, Kahn also headed the CRIF umbrella organization of French Jews in the early 1990s.
