Prospects of immigration from various countries to Israel and the conditions of Jewish communities in a number of countries were discussed at today’s plenary session of the Jewish Agency executive.
Moshe Sharett, chairman of the executive, opened the deliberations with a comprehensive review of the situation in several countries following economic changes and their impact on the Jewish communities; Also dealt with at the session were the problems of pioneer training at 18 centers in eight countries where several hundred youths receive instructions each year.
