The Jewish committee representing all Jews fighting in the ranks of Gen. Mikhailovich’s Army in Yugoslavia today issued an appeal to Jewish organizations in England and the United States asking them to urge the Allies ” to help us with arms and equipment, so that we could contribute the utmost in the struggle against the common enemy.”
The committee emphasized that it will supply organizations in the Allied countries with date on Nazi crimes against Jews in occupied countries. “We shall also send information to Jews in England, America, Russia and other Allied countries on their relatives who succeeded in escaping death at the hands of the Germans and their servants,” the appeal stated.
