A bitter complaint against a Catholic priest who is spreading racial and religious hatred in the town of Wolomichawa, Galicia, was submitted by the Jewish community of that town to the Club of Jewish Deputies. The appeal was addressed to Deputy Frostig and declares that a young Ukrainian priest who has been in the town for two years has been agitating a boycott against the Jews since his arrival there.

He delivers sermons inciting the population against the Jews and threatens reprisals to anyone buying from or selling to Jews. He opened a cooperative with himself as director, where all Christians are compelled to buy. He placed a blacklist outside the church, giving the names of all those who had dealt with Jews.

The Jewish population in Wolomichawa fears an outbreak unless the priest is removed, they state in their complaint to the Jewish Deputies.
