Dr. Jacob Robinson, director of the Jewish Congress Institute of Jewish Affairs, has been appointed expert consultant to the United Nations Permanent Commission of Human Rights.
Dr. Robinson, who has already assumed his duties with the United Nations, will help prepare for the Commission’s first session in New York on Jan. 27, 1947. He has been given a 10-week leave of absence from the American and World Jewish Congresses.
