A survey of the cultural and educational needs of the Jewish communities in Central and South America and the West Indies will be made this summer by Merdecai Halevi, prominent Jewish educator, it was announced today by the World Zionist Organization, spenser of the undertaking.
Mr. Halevi is leaving tomorrow by air and will be gone for six weeks. He will visit Moxico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Wonozuola, Curacao, Netherlands West Indies and Cuba. His trip is intended to stitulate cultural and educational activities among Jews in those countries and to foster a closer relationship between them and Jewry in North America, the World Zionist Organization stated.
