An organization of Jewish engineers in Poland has been formed here. The object is to provide opportunities for Jewish engineers and technicians to obtain employment. The organization will fight against the anti-Jewish boycott movement.
In the last few years many important works have been carried out in Poland. Bridges, roads and railways have been built. Every effort on the part of Jewish engineers to obtain employment on these works was without avail. The union will seek to remedy this state of affairs and to see that qualified Jewish engineers should also be given a chance of obtaining employment on these works.
The organization will also endeavor to associate the Jewish engineers in the country with Jewish life, to make it possible for various Jewish organizations to obtain their expert assistance in activities such as that directed towards the productivization of the Jewish masses.
