SEEK ADVICE
A meeting took place here between the expedition and Leo Herrmann, General Secretary of the Keren Hayesod, as the leaders of the expedition sought the advice of the Keren Hayesod with regard to the Palestine part of the film. Tel Aviv and its surroundings were also filmed. The latter included a message from M. Dizengoff, Mayor of Tel Aviv, to the Empress of Abyssinia, who recently visited the Jewish city. The expedition, accompanied by the journalist Koletzel, fiew from Gaza over the whole of Palestine, then left Haifa for Abyssinia via Arabia. Mr. Wechsler remained in Palestine a few days longer in order to add photographs of Jewish settlements and of Jerusalem itself to his pictorial record. Koletzel, instructed by the Keren Hayesod, acted as Wechsler’s guide.
