Purchase by the “Volksverband,” of a building which will house Jewish orphans and returning deportees was announced today by Marc Jarblum, president of the Federation of Jewish Societies. The home will be named after Mr. Jarblum’s wife, Anna, who died recently.
Several Jewish organizations here have pledged funds to finance the home’s activities, but M. Jarblum expressed the hope that Jewish groups in the United States, particularly the Jewish National Workers Alliance, would also contribute to its upkeep.
