The 70th anniversary of the Jewish Publication Society of America was celebrated here at a meeting at which tribute was paid to the founders of the Society and to the cultural service rendered by it to American Jewry. Edwin Wolf, 2nd, was re-elected president.
Myer Feinstein, treasurer, reported that the Society had ended the year 1957 with a slight surplus. A budget of $362, 000 had been previously approved by the board of trustees for the year 1958.
