Several Jewish settlers were wounded in the Ramath Hakovesh settlement during a search for arms conducted by the Palestine authorities. They were taken to the Jewish hospital in Kfar Saba. (No more details are available due to censorship.)

A military court in Jerusalem today sentenced two Arabs to two and three years imprisonment, respectively, for possession of automatic pistols and ammunition. These sentences are in sharp contrast to the seven years to which Elihau Zacharov, former body guard of Dr. Weizmann, was sentenced recently when two bullets above the legal quota were found on him, one of which was not useable.
