Jewish victims of last year’s disastrous earthquake at Agadir will receive the same Government relief funds to be given to the Moslem earthquake sufferers, amounting to 100,000 Moroccean francs ($200) for each head of his family, it was learned here today. There were more than 1,000 Jewish victims as a result of the Agadir disaster.
However, it was pointed out, that 100,000-franc allotment will go only to heads of those families that still live at Agadir. The majority of the Jewish victims have moved, since the earthquake, either to this city or to Marrakesh, where smaller allotments will apply.
