The prediction that Mrs. Henry Moskowitz, one of Governor Smith’s advisers, may be the first woman member of the Cabinet, if Governor Smith should be elected President, is made by Henry L. Pringle in his book. “Alfred E. Smith, a Critical Study.” The book which is published by Macy-Massius of this city, was issued yesterday.
Mr. Pringle says that Mrs. Moskovotz has advised Governor Smith on matters of State government for eight years.
“Now she is actively working to bring about his nomination and election as President.” Mr. Pringle says. “If this takes place, it is not impossible that she will be the first woman member of a President’s Cabinet.”
