Jews and Arabs in Palestine Could Settle Differences if Britain Withdrew, ?

Pandit Jawsharial Nehru, Vice-President of the interin Indian Governmant, yesterday declared that the Arabe and Jews in Palestine would he able to settle their problems among themselves “it the third party were removed.” He made the statement at the Asian Relations Conferences, attacked by representatives of 30 Asian governments and peoples, including the Palestine Jews.

Asserting that the Palestine question has become highly important, ? stated that “it is clear” that the Indian people believe what “Palestine is ? by an Arab country and no decision can be made without the consent of the Arabs. ” he also stated that “the people of Indian have during these last years ? most greatly with the sufferings of the Jews in Europe and elsewhere.”
