Jews “displaced Only Wilderness,” Farmers’ Parley Told

Opening a conference of the Jewish Farmers’ Association, President Zvi Butkovsky declared today that Arab terrorism had increased despite the triangular conferences being held in London to settle the Palestine conflict. He said the terrorism, however, would not deter Jewish upbuilding efforts since “we have displaced only the wilderness and done violence only to the swamps.” The conference sent a message of encouragement to the Jewish delegation at London.
