Jews in several cities and townships of the Rumanian province of Moldavia are homeless as a result of flood conditions near the rivers Prut and Bahalui, near Jassy, it became known yesterday. The floods occurred when snow melted

The Jewish quarters were particularly affected because they are located on both sides of these rivers. The exact number of Jewish victims is unknown, but many are homeless, since their homes are completely submerged.
