Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev will not receive any Jewish delegation during his stay in the United States, it was announced here by Aleksei Adzhubei, editor of Izvestia, official organ of the Soviet Government, who is the Premier’s son-in-law.
Mr. Adzhubei made his announcement at a reception given to him and other Soviet journalists by the Overseas Press Club here. He said that the treatment of Jews in the Soviet Union is an internal Soviet affair, and added that there is no Jewish problem existing in his country.
Jewish labor groups, including the Jewish Labor Committee, the Labor Zionist Organization, the United Hebrew Trades and others are holding a public mass meeting tomorrow at Hotel Edison here to protest the liquidation of Jewish culture in the Soviet Union and the discriminations practiced by the Soviet authorities against Jews denying them equal rights in higher education and eliminating them from high government position.
