Leasing J. Rosenwald, president of the American Council for Judaism, was received by President Eisenhower yesterday and acquainted the President with the views of his group on Israel.
It was learned today that Mr. Rosenwald sought his interview as a means of informing the President that there are American Jews who do not share the views expressed at the White House by a delegation representing the American Zionist Council on March 23. Mr. Rosenwald told newsmen that his visit with the President was “very pleasant”.
