A list containing the names of about 290 Jewish Leaders and scientists exterminated by the Gestapo in Poland was released here today by Thomas Arciszewski, President-designate of Poland, who arrived recently here from Warsaw.
The list was compiled by the underground Jewish National Committee in occupied Poland under the direction of the Jewish historian, Dr, Emanuel Rignelhlum who shortly after completing the compilation was executed by the Gestapo, together with his wife and son, when German agents discovered their hiding place in the non-Jewish section of warsaw.
