Mrs. Sophie Crouse of this city has reached the end of a fifteen-year search for a brother, Marvei Lescinschi who, with the aid of the Hebrew Sheltering and Immigrant Aid Society of New York City, was found living in Bucharest, Rumania, she disclosed here today.
Fifteen years ago, Marvei escaped from Odessa and fled to Rumania. Since then his sister had heard no word from him. After making extensive inquiries from time to time during this period, she wrote to Hias enlisting its assistance. That organization’s international bureau which has been successful in other cases of a similar nature traced the missing brother.
