The administration of the United Lubavitcher Yeshivoth is now conducting a survey to examine the possibility of establishing Jewish religious day schools in various countries in Latin America, it was announced today by Rabbi S. Gourary, chairman of the executive committee of the Yeshivoth.
The announcement said that the Lubavitcher Yeshivoth are now expanding their work in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv and have acquired new buildings there. It also cited the activities of the Lubavitcher Yeshivah and Rabbinical Seminary in Paris and in Montreal. A number of graduates of the Paris Yeshivah were recently called to Eire to minister to the religious needs of the Jewish community in Dublin, the announcement stated.
