The campaign for funds for the erection of a Jewish Community Center on Gerard avenue near East 164th street, the Bronx, was materially aided at the memorial services of the Congregation Hope of Israel.
Following an address by Dr. Samuel Benjamin, rabbi of the congregation, Samuel L. Miller, the president, appealed for contributions. The following made donations in the sums ranging from $1,500 to $25:
