The British Amy will complete the evacuation of Palestine by August 1, the Gate originally set, if the present rate of progress continues, an official statement from army headquarters raid today.
Listing the total amounts of various war materials which will have to he disposed of, the communique assured the British public that no weapons would be left behind or sold to either Jew or Arabs. It also stated that several thousand troops have already been withdraw from Palestine, white 80,000 army vehicles and 145,000 tons of supplies have also been shipped out of the country during the past few months. The announcement pointed out that military convoys must be carefully guarded and that only 22 trains operate in Palestine daily.
