The University of Minnesota has announced the appointment of Jonathan Paradise to conduct a credit course in Hebrew to be offered at the beginning of the next academic year by the newly established Middle Eastern Language Department. Mr. Paradise is now completing his doctoral work at Gratz College, in Philadelphia.
The course will be the first of its kind in the university proper. Until now, Hebrew has been offered only in the General Extension Division and at the Hillel Foundation’s School of Learning.
