Quoting a statement of Der Stuermer of Nuremberg, that Sir Oswald Mosley’s English Fascists are anti-Semitic, the Manchester Guardian has commented that the Mosleyites would like to be considered anti-Semites.
The Mosleyite director of policy, Thomson, in a statement to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency declared: “I consider the Guardian rather far-fetched. We Mosleyites take no racial attitude, although we have had some difficulties with the Jewish community particularly in the matter of the boycott on German goods.
