Mrs. Arthur Brin, president of the National Council of Jewish Women, has been invited to attend the conference on Economic Security to be held at the White House Wednesday. The invitation was issued by Secretary of Labor Frances Perkins. President Roosevelt will address one of the sessions.
The Committee of Economic Security, composed of members of the Cabinet, was established by the President by executive order ##der authority vested in him by the National Industrial Recovery Act. The Committee is studying problems relating to the economic security of individuals and will report to the President by December 1 if recommendations concerning proposals which, in its judgment, will promote greater economic security.
