Distribution has begun of a map, entitled “America A Nation of One People from Many Countries.” published by the Council Against Intolerance in America. From preview copies sent out this Summer, 7,000 requests have been received by the Council from teachers, superintendents, girls’ and boys’ camps, church organizations, summer school students and civic groups, it was stated. Thirty-five nationalities are shown, where they came from in Europe and Asia, where they settled in the United States and in what industry or agricultural work most members of each group entered after arriving.
