New anti-Semitic disturbances, calculated to frighten the Jewish students away from the lectures, occurred at the University of Bucharest today, but were checked by the intervention of the authorities.
A group of anti-Semitic students attempted to prevent the Jewish students from entering the law school, attacking many of them. The authorities immediately intervened, arresting four of the ringleaders. The authorities declared that the university will be closed, thus causing the students to lose a full semester, in case the slightest incidents will occur.
